Booked a cupping session, but unsure of how to prepare? We’ve got you covered. Preparation is key to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable experience at our clinic; here’s everything you need to know for your next visit:Stay
Hydrated
Cupping involves the use of suction cups on the skin, which promotes blood circulation. This process also activates your body’s natural lymphatic drainage system, which helps to flush out toxins from the body. Ensuring you feel hydrated ahead of the session will mean this process can work more effectively, and you won’t be left feeling dehydrated afterwards.
Dress Comfortable
Wearing lightweight, easy-to-adjust clothes will make for a more relaxing experience; try opting for an oversized t-shirt and soft baggy trousers to make the journey to and from the clinic pleasant and to help facilitate a stress-free session.
Eat Light
Where possible, try to eat a light meal before your session, as feeling too full may make you feel uncomfortable when lying down for an extended period of time.
Freshen Up
Prior to arriving at your session, take a quick shower or bathe to ensure your skin is clean and free from any moisturisers or oils.
Arrive Early
Arriving 10 to 15 minutes early for your appointment will allow time for you to familiarise yourself with the clinic and get settled in, making for a relaxed session.
Converse Openly
Be sure to express any concerns before your session; our friendly therapists are always on hand to answer any questions you have and put your mind at ease. We look forward to welcoming you into our clinic.
